Happy NP Week!

Happy Nurse Practitioner Week to all our incredible Members. In Texas, over 27,000 NPs provide high quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care to their communities. And we are grateful for each and every one of you.
 
Today, TNP issued a press release highlighting the growing importance of the NP role and a new poll conducted by AARP showing that 83% of Texas voters support nurse practitioners as primary care providers and removing barriers to NPs.
 
“Removing barriers to care is one no-cost solution to immediately addressing the state’s severe medical workforce shortage,” said TNP President Cindy Weston, DNP, APRN, CNS-CC, FNP-BC, CHSE.
 
Throughout the week, TNP will join Governor Abbott and the state of Texas in honoring and celebrating you. Here’s how you can join us:
