Wisconsin APRN Modernization Act Signed Into Law

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed a bipartisan bill on Friday, Aug. 8, that aims to expand access to health care in Wisconsin. This bill allows qualified nurses to practice independently as APRNS and addresses effects of nursing shortages by allowing qualified registered nurses to practice independently. The new law comes after a years-long effort to reach an agreement on its parameters. Click here for more information.
